Lillys third birthday in pictures | 14th Septmeber

Monday was a wonderful day of celebration when our little girl turned 3. I thought that I would share a few pictures to you all.

We were meant to be taking a family trip but the weather was completely against us so we let her play with all her new toys in the morning. 

She woke up at 6:20 and was full of it from then on. We went into the frontroom to open her presents at about 9am, she was loving it. Ripping the paper off and seeing her new toys that she had to play with.

In the after noon we took a trip over to Nanny's and Grandads where she had more presents to open, a huge '3' balloon and we did her birthday cake after lunch. Daddy had brought a '3' sparkler and we put two normal candles on too. This year she actually managed to blow her candles out, last year the wind did it for her lol.

After her cake we spent some more time playing and then decided to come home again. She fell asleep on the way home but when she woke she had more energy to play with her toys including her carriage and scooter.

All in all I think that she had a wonderful day and that she loves the presents that she got, she is constantly playing with them. 
 
I cannot believe that we have a 3 year old! I am completely lost where the last 3 years have gone.

I have been blogging for two years now and sadly do not have the room to have a separate blogging space bit still imagine what my space would look like, and often get office envy reading other bloggers posts. I love the idea of just being able to sit down at a desk and write with no distractions around me, like my own little hide away in a loft, with me, my camera, my computer and a cup of tea. I would love to have fresh light colours such as a cream or white for the desk as in my opinion it looks a lot cleaner and can brighten the space up. It would also have to have plenty of storage for chargers, note books and the hundreds of pens, pencils and crayons I have acquired since having Lil's.  The desk pictured below is one that I would certainly consider, this is from  Argos  and looks quite modern with a good amount of storage too. Being a carer for my parents

Both my parents have mobility issues and are bithnow in wheelchairs. Since I can remember my Mum has been in a wheelchair due to have a very worn hip joint which she was born with.  When I was in year 9 my Dad's back started to hurt and progressivly got worse to the point where he struggled to get out of bed. I am now classed as a carer to my mum which is important for me, my mum is very stubborn and sometime I have to have a little nag to get her to do things. I don't see my parents in any other way than just my parents, if that makes sense. My Mum is an amazing person who makss me proud every day. Due her lack of mobility she also has other health problems which she can control with tablets and lifestyle changes.  My Dad is still constantly on the go with his veterans and the local carnival which he does every year using his mobility scooter as his base for his structure. He does feel it after he compeltes things but I think it gives him motivation to

BHP Show 2016 • Lydden Hill

The last time I visited the BHP show I was pregnant with Lil's and it was only a one day event. This year I got to take my baby back to see it for herself and enjoy two days there instead, including a COLD night of camping.  The BHP show is (I believe) a yearly event which takes place at Lydden Hill Race Circuit. This is about 1 hour and a half drive from our house so not too far for us to go, Lilly was as good as gold travelling both there and back, but then again she slept the whole way back.  The show wasn't as good as back in 2012 due to the lack of demo's but the Drift Allstars team were amazing and made Lilly scream with joy after a silly 5 minutes of being scared.  On the Sunday we took a look around the pits, that's a big reason why we like Lydden hill is because of the open pits.
