Mummy and Me | May 2018

Two posts in a week, I am on a roll. I really want to work hard on this from now on, it's my little corner of the internet which means a lot and has memories (good and bad) of Lilly growing up. Back to the Tag. I have decided to take part in this months Mummy and me tag, we have had an amazing month with lots of trips out and about and lots of fresh air and family time. We started off with the first May bank holiday, a beautiful sunny weekend where we took full advantage of it. We walked around our local country park together, finding trails we had never walked before on the Saturday. The Sunday was a family walk through some beautiful (but hilly) woods not too far from us and the Monday was mad, me and Lilly took a trip to our local town where we watched the Jack in the Green parade, a pagan event that happens every may day, and then took a look about some of the 40,000 bikes that descend to our town for the annual May day bike run. Christmas Eve | 12 Days of Blogmas

So it is officially Christmas eve and we usually have a hectic day ahead of us. This year is different though as for some reason we did it all yesterday. Today is a bitter sweet day really, I have the excitement of the next couple of days with family and good food but Christmas eve was the day that I got the very last video of Mum ever. This is hard as I kick myself over videos and pictures of mum but I know that I cannot change that now. Anyway, I have a day of crafts and activities planned with my missy, she has really kept me going and kept me in the festive spirit. I hope you all have an incredible Christmas and have lots of rest and time with family. Make memories and enjoy yourself, thank you for joining me through the 12 days of Blogmas. Merry Christmas xxx

We have been going out for a few years now with our men doing the car park duty, camp site look out and litter pickers. Me and Lilly arrived on the Thursday after and play date and some last minute shopping, I had also packed up my banana car that morning with everything we needed, it was chock a block. Liam and his Dad set up our tent and I did the beds, we both had ready beds, Lil's had a really cute Disney Princess ReadyBed and we just had a double ReadyBed. they are really nice airbeds with a built in sleeping bag, they are so comfy and pretty warm too. After that was set up we got some of the toys out and started using the quad bikes that we had taken out there. Lilly now has her quad but she is a little to young and small to ...
