I have not done an outfit post in a very long time but felt quite comfortable in what I was wearing for once, It was also such a nice day and there was no need for a coat which made me super happy.  Being a Mum I want to be comfy and able to bend with ease but still look nice so I went for this flattering shirt from H&M, its a loose fitting navy blue shirt with polka dots. I fell in love with this instantly and I really do love it. I then went for my usual blue skinny jeans from New Look. I just think that skinny's are the best for keeping the outfit a little less formal.  The boots were from BHS which has no closed but I do love the way they look, feel and have been my most worn shoes since I got them. To complete the outfit I wore a chunky beaded necklace which my gorgeous girl got me foe Mother's day last year. I really think this necklace completes the look so nicely and I love that it is something my girl picked for me all by herself.

We have had a poorly Daddy today so Lil's has been finding every way to cheer him up those afternoon. Going back to this morning though, I decided that instead of hiding away in the front room trying not to wake Daddy we would take a well needed trip to our local town, I had a couple of chores to do and it would kill a bit of time. Firstly I tried to get some paperwork sorted but sadly couldn't, so a little bit of a wasted wait there but the rest if the time was well used. I picked up a glass milk bottle from poundstretcher for a stocking filled (I know its early) and also managed to get one of Lil's birthday presents without her seeing what it was. When we got home Daddy had just got out of bed and looks a little healthier so we all had some lunch and have had a really chilled afternoon. He asked if I could run down the road for something and I got loads of other little jobs done at the same time, like a pharmacy run and a charity shop run.  Whe...

It was carnival week last week and we took advantage of the good weather and things going on around us. On Friday we went and saw a live punch and Judy, it was so good and funny, the only shame was is there was no crocodile :( but I spoke you can't have a live crocodile in the show lol. But again it was still good and Lilly enjoyed watching it too munching on her ice lolly.  On the same day there was a fun day on our estate so we enjoyed some music and displays, my mum and dad came up too. Lilly painted a picture and made a couple of clay things.  Lilly also got to sit in a fire engine again, she understood a lot more this time though :). She choose to have her face painted like a butterfly and just before we went in she was building some robots with consortina style arms and legs and strange heads too. It was a nice day in the sunshine and we had lots of fun making and doing. xXx

Today was a pretty hot day and we had to travel a bit for an appointment so I though that I would put Lilly in a light weight outfit with her hair in pig tails out of the way. Again I thought she looked so cute so had to share it with you. Maybe I'm just biased. Her top is Miniclub from Boots, I believe that I was given this top a while ago but it's certainly something that I would buy outright. Its was quite a stretchy material so gave her a bit of movement. Her leggings are from the Morrison's nutmeg range again, as you can tell I love Nutmeg range lol. These are really cute with the stripes again but I thought the colour was very appropriate for the weather being such bright colours. Lastly are her shoes, I am not sure where they are from as they were given to me from a friend. the shoes have Peppa pig on which Lilly obviously loves, me not so much, but the shoes are really cute and very breathable.  I think her outfit is so cute for this time o...
