Mummy Outfit

I have not done an outfit post in a very long time but felt quite comfortable in what I was wearing for once, It was also such a nice day and there was no need for a coat which made me super happy. 

Being a Mum I want to be comfy and able to bend with ease but still look nice so I went for this flattering shirt from H&M, its a loose fitting navy blue shirt with polka dots. I fell in love with this instantly and I really do love it. I then went for my usual blue skinny jeans from New Look. I just think that skinny's are the best for keeping the outfit a little less formal. 

The boots were from BHS which has no closed but I do love the way they look, feel and have been my most worn shoes since I got them. To complete the outfit I wore a chunky beaded necklace which my gorgeous girl got me foe Mother's day last year. I really think this necklace completes the look so nicely and I love that it is something my girl picked for me all by herself.

    New Look jeans are the best! I almost always buy mine from there :) And your shirt is absolutely gorgeous. I think I need to take a trip to H&M soon and see what other goodies they have!

BHP Show 2016 • Lydden Hill

The last time I visited the BHP show I was pregnant with Lil's and it was only a one day event. This year I got to take my baby back to see it for herself and enjoy two days there instead, including a COLD night of camping.  The BHP show is (I believe) a yearly event which takes place at Lydden Hill Race Circuit. This is about 1 hour and a half drive from our house so not too far for us to go, Lilly was as good as gold travelling both there and back, but then again she slept the whole way back.  The show wasn't as good as back in 2012 due to the lack of demo's but the Drift Allstars team were amazing and made Lilly scream with joy after a silly 5 minutes of being scared.  On the Sunday we took a look around the pits, that's a big reason why we like Lydden hill is because of the open pits. The importance of a smear test

Last month I got my first 'invitation' to have the cervical cancer screening, or smear test as it is commonly known. I was a little surprised as I am on 24 but phoned up straight away to book an appointment.  To me this is so inportant as it could potentially save your life. The test takes about 5 minutes, and even though it's unpleasent, in my eyes it's necessary. I am now in tge waiting period for my letrer to say weather or not I am clear of abnormal cells. It can take up to 21 days for the letter after your appointment and you will hear either way.  The nurse that I had was so calming she showed the equipment and explained exactly what she was going to do. She could tell I was nervous but she kept re-assuring me and just telling me to breath and relax. I am so relieved that it is done and hope that everything is ok. Being a carer for my parents

Both my parents have mobility issues and are bithnow in wheelchairs. Since I can remember my Mum has been in a wheelchair due to have a very worn hip joint which she was born with.  When I was in year 9 my Dad's back started to hurt and progressivly got worse to the point where he struggled to get out of bed. I am now classed as a carer to my mum which is important for me, my mum is very stubborn and sometime I have to have a little nag to get her to do things. I don't see my parents in any other way than just my parents, if that makes sense. My Mum is an amazing person who makss me proud every day. Due her lack of mobility she also has other health problems which she can control with tablets and lifestyle changes.  My Dad is still constantly on the go with his veterans and the local carnival which he does every year using his mobility scooter as his base for his structure. He does feel it after he compeltes things but I think it gives him motivation to
