Mummy and Me | May 2018

Two posts in a week, I am on a roll. I really want to work hard on this from now on, it's my little corner of the internet which means a lot and has memories (good and bad) of Lilly growing up. Back to the Tag. I have decided to take part in this months Mummy and me tag, we have had an amazing month with lots of trips out and about and lots of fresh air and family time. We started off with the first May bank holiday, a beautiful sunny weekend where we took full advantage of it. We walked around our local country park together, finding trails we had never walked before on the Saturday. The Sunday was a family walk through some beautiful (but hilly) woods not too far from us and the Monday was mad, me and Lilly took a trip to our local town where we watched the Jack in the Green parade, a pagan event that happens every may day, and then took a look about some of the 40,000 bikes that descend to our town for the annual May day bike run. We have since been on more walks, trying ...

Picture taken on Autumn walk 30/9/17 Wow! Another month gone. This has been a crazy one with Birthdays and Lilly starting her adventure at 'Big' school. It seems such a long time ago already and she has only been there two weeks. Both me and Lilly are officially a year older, I'm a year closer to 30 which is pretty scary, and I am now a mum to a 5 year old which is just insane. She makes me so proud and we had two lovely says celebrating.  Lilly has been doing absolutely amazing at school, she has been reading a few small words and writing so much, she just wants to learn and get everything right. I miss her so much and have no idea what to do with myself most of the time. I have just been pottering around our flat and decluttering. It has been another quite hard month with Mum not being here though as it was the first official celebrations since she passed away. It also got to me when decluttering Lils clothes that all the things that Mum saw Lils in is ...

Mummy and Me | August 2017

How is it September already, we have had such a busy month with lots of fun days out and weekend away. The beginning of August we took a trip to Pets and Home for a little workshop, she got to hold two beautiful bunnies and was made up with life. Straight after we headed to our local town for there carnival, my Dad was involved by creating a carousel around his mobility chair. We also wore sailor hats in memory of my Dad's friend and a local man who everyone loves, he used to dress like Popeye and was also able to pull the face too. We have then been on two weekends away in a caravan, at Rural Past Times and also at the Festival of Transport, these are two local events which we are involved in. Lil's had a fair few late nights and two nights dancing with the family. We have made amazing memories and have become closer as a family.  We have a fair few adventures in the this coming month and I seriously cannot wait for all the new experiences and routines that we are...

Mummy + Me July 2017

Image
So today marks the last day of July, This month seems to have been the slowest so far but its nice as I have spent some quality time with our girl over the last week and a half. We're in full swing of the summer holidays now and have already had a lovely few days down the park and enjoying the concoctions of weather. I have been struggling a bit with my emotions over the past couple of weeks but have a huge support network around me. I have just been missing mum a lot and can't quite explain to some people how I feel as I don't really know myself.  We have a lot planned for next month, we have camping trips, a carnival and a special trip to pets at home coming up. I want to enjoy these next 7 weeks with her as when she start school in September I know she is going to grow and change so much while she is at school.  How has your month been and what have you got planned for the next few weeks?

Mummy + Me | March 2017

How are we at the end of March already? It has been another pretty hard month, sadly my Mum is still in hospital and it just seems to be going on for so long now. The better things this month thought was Mother's Day and Liam's Birthday too. We had a pretty busy day as they both fell on the same day. I travelled to the hospital to see Mum while he went to spend some time with his family. We spent a lovely evening together with a couple of drinks and a few snuggles Lilly seems to have grown and changed so much this month which is making me incredibly broody and wanting to expand our family. Her speech is amazing and she is starting to get a cute little sense of humour, I still can't quite believe she is now 4 1/2 already.

Mummy + Me | December 2016

Another month over, and another year over. It has been the most crazy and stressful year so far but we have made it though to the end.  December was lovely, my favourite month, just because of Christmas really. Lilly was so understanding of it all this year and was sure that Santa had forgotten her, bless her heart, but that did mean a very late night on Christmas Eve for us.  The rest of the month went by in a flash really, we had family to visit, Christmas fayres to go to, presents to wrap, food to buy and it just didn't see like I was very organised at all. And sadly this month, my car decided that it was going to give up all together and blow a head gasket :( so it's sadly off to the scrap yard.  The picture this month is one of my complete favourite photos of us together, it is taken from during Vlogmas when Daddy got his old Auorora AFX out, this is a kind of scalextric which Lilly found highly amusing and I managed to catch a picture of a purely am...

Mummy + Me | October 2016

Image
October is over for another year and I am so excited for the two months ahead of us, bonfire night and the build up to Christmas.  October has been a pretty good month apart from my silly banana car braking down twice, the first time I actually had to be towed home.....not good. I am now looking to get it sorted and selling it on for a more reliable car for me and Lilly.  We had a lovely week during half term, we had some lovely family days together and did lots of baking too. We made  cheese scones ,  tiffin mess  and  honey choc chip cookies . Another thing that happened during this month was that Lilly got prescribed some glasses  as she is long sighted. She has been so good in wearing them so far and loves swapping between her Frozen pair and her Rapunzel pair. I hope that November brings me luck with my car and that it is a good as this month, if not better.

September has been an emotional month for me, my littrle 'baby' girl turned 4! That is so crazy, I am a Mum to a 4 year old! We have had a very busy month all in all, I also celebrated my 25th birthday and Lilly went back to nursery too. Again I didn't get many pictures of us together but this one makes me very happy. It was taken on her birthday on the Safari truck at Port Lympne Animal park.  We had a lovely family day out with just me, Lil's and Liam which is very rare. The weather was lovely but sadly some of the animals were hidden because of that fact. We did get to some some beautiful animals though and had a full day out. She was also spoilt rotton witb all her new toys and clothes that she recieved, a very lucky little girl. September has been a lovely month that I am actually quite sad that it's coming to an end

My blog has been a little quiet from my Summer holiday posts but I have been away camping again, blog post to follow. So we are at the end of August which means its time for a Mummy + Me post. We have had such a fun filled month but sadly at the beginning my other half lost his job. During this month we have had to camping holidays which were amazing. Both times were super cheap but super fun too with great company. We attended Rural past times and Hellingly festival of transport and also had a lovely afternoon on the pier. This month Lilly seems to have grown so much, maybe it is because of the experiences we have had over our weekends away but I still can't seem to get into my head that Lil's will be 4 in two weeks.  I have just a couple of weeks left with Lil's until she is back at nursery and I hope that we can give her a brilliant end to het summer holidays.  xXx

Welcome back to Mummy + Me, another month has passed already and we are getting closer and closer to Lil's 4th birthday!! How are we almost into August? This month has been pretty quiet but we have been loving the Sunny weather and enjoying rekindling old friendships. We have had a fair few icecreams this month and worn a lot of dresses. Our money troubles sadly has gotten worse due to sickness but we will come out the other side stronger and hopefully soon but this has been kind of stressful sadly. Lilly is now finished with nursry for just over 8 weeks and I have been waiting foe this for a while, to enjoy have adventures with my little girl and making memories together. In some happier news I have been working towards volunteering at her school and have finally got all the forms taken back, so hopefully from September I will be helping and working towards becoming a teaching assistant. This month really has had its ups and down but we will look...

Mummy + Me • June 2016

How is it possible that I am writing my June Mummy + me. We have had a busy month full on appointments, an interview and sorting stuff out. Sadly I haven't taken many pictures of both us us this month but this one makes me smule so much, her smile just lightens up my day. This month we haven't had the best weather again so a lot of time has been a lot of indoor play and just enjoying each others company. She can now write her name herself, which makes me so proud and can almost count to 25 which is made. The time we did enjoy outside was either enjoying the sun (when it shone)at the park with a picnic and also we attended our local Armed Forces Day which was a lovely afternoon out. As of today we just have three weeks left of school runs before having my girl home for the summer holidays, I seriously cannot wait, but don't want to eish time away yet haha. How was June for you? It was certainly better than recent months for us. xXx

How are we at the end of May already? We have had a busy and fun month and have made a few memories together. We have definetly had a better month this month though. At the beginning of the month we travelled up to Lydden hill to got to the BHP show  we had fun watching the cars and camping out for the night. It wasn't as good as they had stated but we made the most of it and Lilly loved the cars, she is a complete car fanatic. Also this month our local pier was re opened after an awful fire, we visited  Hastings pier  not long after it opened and Lilly had a lovely couple of hours enjoying everything on there. We gave also been doing a lot of messy play this month, making the most of materials around our house to teach Lilly and play with too. We are not at the end of the month and are entering the half way mark of 2016 already! I seriously want time to slow down and to enjoy every moment possible.  We have had a lovely month toget...

This my first Mummy and me post, I have wanted to write these for a while but have never gotton round to it. I have always wanted to document my little girls life from day one and filmed weekly pregnancy vlogs too. We have been adverntuing out more with me having a car, then when getting back home Lil's love to wrap up in her dressing gown for some snuggles. This month has been a testing month with extra expenses and illnesses going round.  Now its the end of the month and we are MEANT to be going away camping and watching racing but have a broken car and two out of the three of us is ill. Hopefully all will be well by then.  The threenager has really come out in Lilly in the past couple of months with her sulking over silly things, but she has started listening at nursery better which makes me super happy and proud of her.  xXx
