Lilly's Christmas Outfit | 12 Days of Blogmas

Image
I have finally worked out what Lilly will be wearing for Christmas, I want her to look smart but be comfy too and Nutmeg have some beautiful clothes in at the moment. I can't quite believe that this will be Lilly's sixth Christmas, it doesn't seem possible at all that she has been part of our world. I am quite envious of Lilly's outfit to be perfectly honest, she has a beautiful red tartan skirt which came with some detailed cream tights, from the Nutmeg range at Morrisons. The top is also part of the Nutmeg range, it is a gorgeous soft feel long sleeved top which says 'Sparkle All The Way'. Lastly I am going to finish the outfit off with some new pink, glittery party shoes from the Lily and Dan range at Aldi. I think that this all together with look super pretty and be a comfy outfit that she can wear all day with ease. Skirt and tights, Aged 5-6 £10 Top, Aged 5-6 £3 Shoes, Size 9 £6.99 I hope you enjoyed this post, I would love to see wha...

Autumn / Halloween crafts

Image
We are sadly almost at the end of the school holidays but I have been doing a few crafts with Lilly all aimed at Halloween and Autumn and I wanted to share them with you as they may keep your little ones happy for a while.                       Decorated Pumpkin                                                         This is such a simple thing and so inexpensive too. You will need: - 1 × Small pumpkin - Glitter / paint / stickers This year we have some glitter stickers as we can't seem to find any normal glitter anywhere local. I let Lilley do her thing and she craed this really cool face out if the shapes that we had. ...

Armed Forces Day • 2016

Image
A couple of Sunday's ago just we attended our local Armed Forces Day. This is held in our local park and has lots of different things happening. We arrived about 11 which was sadly after the parade had happened, each year the event starts with a parade of cadets, girl guiding associations, veterans and members from each of the forces, this year there were also so Gurkha's who I sadly missed as they had to go back to base. The first thing Lilly saw was the bouncy castles, they were only little ones but perfect for the event, they only charged £2 for as long as they wanted which I thought was really good. Lil's had a good 15 minutes on these while I spoke to my parents and decided where we would go next. The next thing we went to was to get Lil's face painted, she had been going on about this since I had mentioned that there was going to be face painting there, she asked for a butterfly which she got done, they then offered to do mine too, I had a glit...
