On Sunday me and Lilly took a trip to a very cool local event known as Hughie's Supercar Sunday, this is an event that is in memory of a little boy call Hughie who was just 3 years of age when he gained his wings due to a rare brain condition. He was a big supercar fan so every year since his family have put on an amazing event to raise money for charity, this year being the Chestnut Tree House charity. With over100 supercars parked up there was a lot to see, and Lilly was very lucky to be able to sit in three different types of Super cars, a Lamborghini, a Ferrari and a Maclaren. A few of the cars revved there engines to show off them.  There was a cake sale and other fundraising bits to the back of the event for the Chestnut tree house along with many collection buckets. The family also brung there VW FireTruck which has been converted for children to play in and around. I have just read that this event has raised £5,408.12 for the charity, which is amaing. ...

Back in August we were lucky enough to take a trip up to Chessington World of Adventures with the three of us. We were luckily enough to get seats on a community funded project for a coach trip up there. We had such a lovely day so here is our story. Our coach left our town at 9:30 in the morning and we arrives at about 11 am,we first entered the park through the coach end, which is located near the sea life centre and animals, so this is what we first ventured to, there are so many animals there which Lilly had never seen before, she especially loved the giraffes and the penguins. The zoo and sea life centre added more excitement to Lilly's trip as she got to experience so much in one day. We sadly miss some of the animals as the signage wasn't amazing and I am terrible at reading maps, but hopefully next time we will managed to visit those ones too. Back in September we visited Port Lympne Animal Reserve in Kent for Lilly's 4th birthday and wanted to share our day with you all. We booked the tickets online the day before as it was cheaper to do so but for the three of us it was still £58.67 which to me is quite expensive, that does include the safari truck adventure to the African experience.  On her birthday we wanted to make a full day of it so we left at about 9am to get there for  close to 10am which we did. When you first arrive you have to cross a bridge across the road to the main entrance where you walk past a small baboon enclosure with one in, he seemed very happy to be sitting there watching people come in and out and Lilly got very excited to see him.  Once in the park there are two enclosures which we thought were closed but at the end we found out that Liam's favourite animal was hiding in there.....but we'll come back to that.  We sorted everythin...

When in Devon we took a trip to the World of Country life. There was so much to do there, something for everyone.  At the World of country life there were animals of all sorts, vehicle museum and steam museum, also play areas for the children (or big kids like me and Liam).  The first part that we looked round was all about farming machines and the way they used to work. They were all working and and the mini train had all moving parts. We then went into a section of little scenes and costumes from the past. We then entered a little village row with shops and a public house to look in. There were many animals to see including deer, rhias, pigs, donkeys, cows, sheep, goats and a little nursery full of baby rabbits and cute chicks. Lilly was very unsure of the larger animals but the baby goats were definitely her cup of tea. They also had a birds of prey display, we saw  a hawk and an owl.
