Lilly,     Today was your last ever day at nursery, how can this be? You have been there two years, had four incredible key workers over that time and have been a real super star by taking everything in your stride. You have grown so much in more ways than one, you can write so many letters and are starting to try and read, which makes me swell with pride.     The day you started, the day after your 3rd birthday was so scary for me, for the letting go of the child I have never been apart from. You did amazing from the start, not even a turn back after a week, ever since you have got more confident by the day and are so ready to start your new adventure.    I now have 8 weeks to make memories with you until you start in reception, until you are away from me for a whole 6 hours a day. I want to remember the quirky little girl that is growing and changing so quickly so am starting this series for that reason. She has such an amazing, caring personality and really does make my world a lot more adventurous and fun. She makes me laugh, gives the most amazing hugs, has such an incredible imagination and is so strong willed. I truely am blessed to have such a wonderful daughter.  - Playing with mine or her own ears when tired - - Saying Breakfuff instead of Breakfast - - Saying mo lawn instead of lawn mower - - Falling asleep in random places like against the bathroom and bedroom door frames stood up and once outside the living room door, and the kitchen -

This is a rather different post to what I normally write but I feel like I have to.  Looking back on my pregnancy and the first few months of having Lilly I was so naive. I really didn't know what I was doing and what I had to come. I was very lucky with my pregnancy on how it went. I never thought about how much my body would change or anything, I never brought a maternity item or any special creams for stretch marks so I ended up living in jogging bottoms or jeans held together with a hairtie.  The one thing that I did use was pretty natal vitamins from the very start.  Going into the final few week I packed my hospital bag which was almost OK as had watched a few YouTube video. I made sure that I had plenty of bits for Lilly and even took some milk cartons in to. I cannot believe that my little girl is going to be three years old. I see her grow and change every day but can't believe that three years have passed since I gave birth to her. Three years today was the most surreal day of my life, starting a new chapter, not only for me and but for me and Liam as a couple.  She is the best thing that happened to us and I am so thankful that we have a beautiful, clever little girl who knows how to make us smile and feel better with her quirky personality. I have watched her grow into this little girl who wants to explore and learn in any way she can, she knows how to push our limits and winds us up like no tomorrow but I wouldn't change her for the world. It's just three weeks till we take our holiday to Devon Cliffs in Exmouth and I thought I would share what I am taking in Lillys backpack for our journey to our park. I will start with the usual things, so nappies/dry like me, wipes, outfits, snacks and drink. This is a must have just to be prepared for any journey out. The extra bits that I am taking are either to keep her amused or for comfort.  I have a small colouring book and two packs of crayons for when we get to camp. She loves colouring and I found this cute book that would fit in her backpack. I then have some small books to fit in there that I know she likes including Elmers parade, The dinosaur that pooped a lot and Rusty's train ride.  I then have my Samsung galaxy tab 2 loaded with apps for her. I also will be adding music for her and downloading some tv programmes from BBC Iplayer. Lastly we have her bunny and sheepy with us which she has in bed with her every single night.  ...

I am so sorry for the absence. But I have not had it in me to blog or vlog. So Lilly turned 21 months old on Saturday just gone, which means it is now less than three months till her 2nd birthday. She still eats everything and anything but seems to be more hungry, like constantly hungry lol. Fruit and veg are her favourite even before chocolate now. She has started sleeping through about once a week so I get a brilliant nights sleep, just hope that but winter she sleeps through properly which would be amazing. She is still in 12-18 month clothing and a few larger 9-12 t-shirts. She again is in 3.5 shoes almost size 4 but she is definitely growing. So basically she is doing brilliantly in my eyes with everything including speech, playing, singing and just generally being a toddler. Thanks for reading Viki X

So I'm more into fashion than I have ever been, I thought I would do a weekly fashion vlog called Style Sunday with outfits from both me and Lilly pops. Today was really warm and sunny so thought I would go for a more summery look. I have on some Navy blue skinny jeans from New Look, these are super comfy and cheap as well :) will always go back to these jeans. I also have a long loose fitting yellow top from R&D fashion Paris, really don't have a clue what shop that is, but has been in wardrobe for years now. Then I have a plain white vest top underneath for dignity.  For accessories I have a pink flower clip in which I got from eBay, this was to continue the summery look, I also have my engagement ring on and some pearl stud earrings which are from superdrug. For Lilly today we have  some 3/4 length pink leggings from Next, also her pink t-shirt is from Next. Then we have some sandals from George, Asda, and her pretty little bow is again ...

So today Lilly is officially a year and a half! Wow, where has the time gone.  Speech : She learns new words every day, which is lovely :) and is always trying to copy what we say and what people on the telly say. She also knows some animal noises and has started to try and sing bless her. The cutest thing ever. Size : She is in size 4 pull up nappies as she has started asking for the potty and has actually used it a few times. She is in 12-18 month clothing and 3.5 shoes so still very diddy. Food : She eats pretty much everything, usually for breakfast she has porridge or toast, for lunch will usually be sandwiches or bread sticks and cheese and she east what we eat for dinner. Routine : She usually wakes between 6:30 and 7:30am then we play, eat breakfast and get dressed for the day, we then put her for her nap at about 11-12 which lasts up to 2 hours.
