This little girl is the apple of my eye, she is one truly amazing little girl who makes me smile, laugh, and is one of my best friends.  She is now 6 years old and I cannot see where that time has gone? You blink and they are no longer the babies they once were. She is now into things, likes to help with chores (most of the time), is reading everything she can get her hands on andhas the attitude of a teenager. I dread to think how she is actually going to be as a teenager. But right now, I am going to enjoy this time of year with her, watch Christmas films, play with her presents with her (on Christmas day) and share some tasty hot chocolate and marshmallows.

How are we at the end of March already? It has been another pretty hard month, sadly my Mum is still in hospital and it just seems to be going on for so long now. The better things this month thought was Mother's Day and Liam's Birthday too. We had a pretty busy day as they both fell on the same day. I travelled to the hospital to see Mum while he went to spend some time with his family. We spent a lovely evening together with a couple of drinks and a few snuggles Lilly seems to have grown and changed so much this month which is making me incredibly broody and wanting to expand our family. Her speech is amazing and she is starting to get a cute little sense of humour, I still can't quite believe she is now 4 1/2 already.

February has been a really hard month for our family with my Mum being very poorly in hospital but en these two people with me in the above picture have really been my rocks. Liam has been my shoulder to cry on, my ear to listen and his cuddles and support have been just truely what I have needed. Lilly makes me incredibly happy with her smiles and giggles and her hugs are just the best to cheer up a hard situation. With hospital visits, half term and now the chaos of going back after a week we haven't really managed to do a lot but we have had a few family days in with films, puzzles and baking too, trying to keep the normality at home for Lilly. 2nd Year of Nursery

I know it's a few days after Halloween but I wanted to share with you what we got up to. We had a fantastic day with lots of different activities to keep Lilly busy.  Firstly we went to Tesco where we got Lilly's face painted as a pumpkin for charity and got a photo taken to. So lots of memories. She sat so still when having her face done, she was amazing. I did Lilly a little Halloween bucket with a few bits in. We had a Peppa pig Halloween sticker book, so biscuits to decorate, so chocolate, and some orange paint for our handprint spider. Lilly decorated her pumpkin biscuit with icing and sugar balls. I helped with the icing but she loved putting the sugar balls onnto the icing. Lilly loves doing handprints so thought I would tie it in with Halloween and made a spider out of them.
