My week in pictures | 31st Aug - 6th Sept

Another week has passed and I am another year older lol. It was my birthday yesterday and was truely spoilt :) I feel very lucky. Last Monday me and Lilly played with her duplo and made a really cool island for Jake and Peter from Jake and the Neverland pirates, We then went on to play for a bit finding the treasure and fighting off the crocodile. After she also made a chicken out if duplo which was amazing. During the week we went out and had icecream, two scoops of chocolate and a scoop of toffee. Lilly was so small in the chair that she actually sat on the table at the end to reach the bbotto, bless her. We ended up sharing as there was a lot of ice cream there for her to eat.  As I said at the beginning it was my birthday yesterday and I was spoilt but everyone. Liam didn't know what to get me so he took me shopping for a few bits, I got some lush bathbombs and some clothes from Primark too, and the sprinkle of glitter 2016 diary. We then stopped at...

Fun day | Punch and Judy and Lots more

Image
It was carnival week last week and we took advantage of the good weather and things going on around us. On Friday we went and saw a live punch and Judy, it was so good and funny, the only shame was is there was no crocodile :( but I spoke you can't have a live crocodile in the show lol. But again it was still good and Lilly enjoyed watching it too munching on her ice lolly.  On the same day there was a fun day on our estate so we enjoyed some music and displays, my mum and dad came up too. Lilly painted a picture and made a couple of clay things.  Lilly also got to sit in a fire engine again, she understood a lot more this time though :). She choose to have her face painted like a butterfly and just before we went in she was building some robots with consortina style arms and legs and strange heads too. It was a nice day in the sunshine and we had lots of fun making and doing. xXx

Armed forces day | Alexandra park

Image
Today me and Lilly went to our local Armed forces day celebration down our main park. There was lots to see and do including displays from local groups and parades, there was also a chairoplane and bouncy castles there and they had stalls and tombolas as well. After the parade we started wandering and managed to catch the military college students pulling the truck along. It took them a while to get it moving but once they had they were fine. They also pushed it back up the field too. Food wise they had a burger van which was really cheap for the food they did, they had a crepes stand which I think is a brilliant idea. They also had an ice cream van which Lilly choose and a sweet stand. They had this cute, original 1950's chairoplane for the children which Lilly was so excited to go on. She loved it and was smiling the whole way around. They also had a couple of bouncy castles too. There was a few stalls with local charities and groups running ...
