Today is a bitter sweet one for me but I think it would have been sour if it wasn't for Lilly and me being a Mum myself.  As everyone has meals, sends flowers or leaves a meaningful messages for ther Mothers, but I can't do that this year, I feel slightly robbed, like it's not fair. I want to celebrate my Mum because she was a truly wonderful women who made my world turn, she was my best friend, my agony aunt, my inspiration. I miss her, not just her as a person but her snigger, her wisdom, her smell and her attention. She was always there when I needed her, if me and Liam had argued, when Lilly was born, when our first baby was not meant to be. She was such a kind hearted women who didn't care what anyone thought of her. So Happy Mothers Day to all the Mum's who aren't with us anymore, you are never forgotten and you will always be in our hearts.  Happy Mothers day Mum Love Tick Tock x 

Last weekend I was lucky enough to travel up to London with Lilly, my Auntie and my uncle to Winter wonderland at Hyde Park. This is a free to enter event in the centre of London which is very family oriented and very festive. There are many rides and attractions for you to see BUT I would advise prebooking for the big attractions online. We arrived at around 2pm and the queue to enter was quite small, we only waited about 5 minutes before we were at the bag check. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was electric.  The first thing we did was check out some rides for Lilly (kind of wish we had waited as there were more Christmas themed one further in) and got some hot drinks (hot chocolate)   The children's rides range from £2 - £3 each and the larger rides cost £6,- £8 each. How is it September already, we have had such a busy month with lots of fun days out and weekend away. The beginning of August we took a trip to Pets and Home for a little workshop, she got to hold two beautiful bunnies and was made up with life. Straight after we headed to our local town for there carnival, my Dad was involved by creating a carousel around his mobility chair. We also wore sailor hats in memory of my Dad's friend and a local man who everyone loves, he used to dress like Popeye and was also able to pull the face too. We have then been on two weekends away in a caravan, at Rural Past Times and also at the Festival of Transport, these are two local events which we are involved in. Lil's had a fair few late nights and two nights dancing with the family. We have made amazing memories and have become closer as a family.  We have a fair few adventures in the this coming month and I seriously cannot wait for all the new experiences and routines that we are...

I have been really into cooking from scratch more lately, it has been taking my mind off of things and making me feel quite proud of myself. my latest is a family favourite and is now a staple in our house, which I certainly don't mind. I have finally learnt how to create a tasty toad in the hole after learning how to make basic Yorkshire puddings too. This is ridiculously simple to make and I am kicking myself a bit for not trying before. This takes about 45 minutes in total to create with only five main ingredients. This serves 2-3 people easily. Serving suggestion. Recipe - 5-6 Sausages - 140g Plain Flour - 2 Eggs - 175ml Milk - Salt and Pepper - Oil Method 1. Preheat your oven to Gas Mark 7/ 220oC, pour a layer or oil into a roasting tin and place in the oven. 2. Once heated add the sausages and cook for around 15 minutes to brown off. This months Mummy and Me post is a little different because is it about me and my Mummy, There is a reason to this and if you follow me on my social media's then you will know that my Mum passed away a couple of weeks back, so this month is going to be a little bit about this amazing women. This is my Mum, she was and will always be my best friend. She was a true inspiration to me and to may others, she was born without a hip bone, had asthma, diabetes, and a hernia, she had been in a wheelchair for all of my life and a couldn't be more proud of this women. My Mum and my Dad gave me a wonderful childhood, have created many memories for me and made dreams come true. They took me on a mini flight for my 15th birthday, had family holidays every year and even brought tickets for the Harry Potter studios last year for me.  When my Mum was young she was told that she wouldn't walk, work or have children, but my Mum, being the stubborn women she was managed all th...

How are we at the end of March already? It has been another pretty hard month, sadly my Mum is still in hospital and it just seems to be going on for so long now. The better things this month thought was Mother's Day and Liam's Birthday too. We had a pretty busy day as they both fell on the same day. I travelled to the hospital to see Mum while he went to spend some time with his family. We spent a lovely evening together with a couple of drinks and a few snuggles Lilly seems to have grown and changed so much this month which is making me incredibly broody and wanting to expand our family. Her speech is amazing and she is starting to get a cute little sense of humour, I still can't quite believe she is now 4 1/2 already.

February has been a really hard month for our family with my Mum being very poorly in hospital but en these two people with me in the above picture have really been my rocks. Liam has been my shoulder to cry on, my ear to listen and his cuddles and support have been just truely what I have needed. Lilly makes me incredibly happy with her smiles and giggles and her hugs are just the best to cheer up a hard situation. With hospital visits, half term and now the chaos of going back after a week we haven't really managed to do a lot but we have had a few family days in with films, puzzles and baking too, trying to keep the normality at home for Lilly. Another month over, and another year over. It has been the most crazy and stressful year so far but we have made it though to the end.  December was lovely, my favourite month, just because of Christmas really. Lilly was so understanding of it all this year and was sure that Santa had forgotten her, bless her heart, but that did mean a very late night on Christmas Eve for us.  The rest of the month went by in a flash really, we had family to visit, Christmas fayres to go to, presents to wrap, food to buy and it just didn't see like I was very organised at all. I can't believe we are at the end of another year but I certainly am looking towards a fresh new page in 2017. We have not had the best year and we have also lost some amazingly talented celebrities too. But I want to share a few pictures that have made my year the best it could be. January Our little of snow that we had at the beginning of the year....It literally lasted half a day but we enjoyed it while it lasted February I completed my first (and only in the end) of my new years resolutions and passed my driving test. This was my second attempt and only got 5 minors. March March came Easter and Liam's 25th birthday, it was a pretty uneventful time but we did make some amazing nest cakes. April This month was the month that I finally had use of a car and wanted to us it. We took a few drives out and had some lovely days together. Back in September we visited Port Lympne Animal Reserve in Kent for Lilly's 4th birthday and wanted to share our day with you all. We booked the tickets online the day before as it was cheaper to do so but for the three of us it was still £58.67 which to me is quite expensive, that does include the safari truck adventure to the African experience.  On her birthday we wanted to make a full day of it so we left at about 9am to get there for  close to 10am which we did. When you first arrive you have to cross a bridge across the road to the main entrance where you walk past a small baboon enclosure with one in, he seemed very happy to be sitting there watching people come in and out and Lilly got very excited to see him.  Once in the park there are two enclosures which we thought were closed but at the end we found out that Liam's favourite animal was hiding in there.....but we'll come back to that.  We sorted everythin...

I have finally got around to writing my post from the weekend. We went camping again but this time we were in a caravan which was so much nicer. We arrived to the camping field on the Friday which was baking hot. We arrived at about 2pm and sorted out our caravan for the weekend. Sadly we couldn't do much playing outside the caravan as the field was an old wheat field and the stalks were quite sharp where it had been harvested. The rest of the Friday was set up really. Saturday was another scorcher but we decided to head over to the show field to have a look at what was there. The field was literally packed which really suprised me. The vehicles over there ranged from military to farming to vintage, so many things to see and I am so glad we could go a second day.  Lil's absolutely loved all the vintage cars and military vehicles.
