I can't believe we are at the end of another year but I certainly am looking towards a fresh new page in 2017. We have not had the best year and we have also lost some amazingly talented celebrities too. But I want to share a few pictures that have made my year the best it could be. January Our little of snow that we had at the beginning of the year....It literally lasted half a day but we enjoyed it while it lasted February I completed my first (and only in the end) of my new years resolutions and passed my driving test. This was my second attempt and only got 5 minors. March March came Easter and Liam's 25th birthday, it was a pretty uneventful time but we did make some amazing nest cakes. April This month was the month that I finally had use of a car and wanted to us it. We took a few drives out and had some lovely days together. I have finally got around to writing my post from the weekend. We went camping again but this time we were in a caravan which was so much nicer. We arrived to the camping field on the Friday which was baking hot. We arrived at about 2pm and sorted out our caravan for the weekend. Sadly we couldn't do much playing outside the caravan as the field was an old wheat field and the stalks were quite sharp where it had been harvested. The rest of the Friday was set up really. Saturday was another scorcher but we decided to head over to the show field to have a look at what was there. The field was literally packed which really suprised me. The vehicles over there ranged from military to farming to vintage, so many things to see and I am so glad we could go a second day.  Lil's absolutely loved all the vintage cars and military vehicles. As  you may have noticed I have been away from the blog for a few days now and haven't really been on social media either, well me and Liam's family have been out camping at Pestalozzi Village for an event called Rural past times. We have been going out for a few years now with our men doing the car park duty, camp site look out and litter pickers. Me and Lilly arrived on the Thursday after and play date and some last minute shopping, I had also packed up my banana car that morning with everything we needed, it was chock a block. Liam and his Dad set up our tent and I did the beds, we both had ready beds, Lil's had a really cute Disney Princess ReadyBed and we just had a double ReadyBed. they are really nice airbeds with a built in sleeping bag, they are so comfy and pretty warm too. After that was set up we got some of the toys out and started using the quad bikes that we had taken out there. Lilly now has her quad but she is a little to young and small to ...

It was carnival week last week and we took advantage of the good weather and things going on around us. On Friday we went and saw a live punch and Judy, it was so good and funny, the only shame was is there was no crocodile :( but I spoke you can't have a live crocodile in the show lol. But again it was still good and Lilly enjoyed watching it too munching on her ice lolly.  On the same day there was a fun day on our estate so we enjoyed some music and displays, my mum and dad came up too. Lilly painted a picture and made a couple of clay things.  Lilly also got to sit in a fire engine again, she understood a lot more this time though :). She choose to have her face painted like a butterfly and just before we went in she was building some robots with consortina style arms and legs and strange heads too. It was a nice day in the sunshine and we had lots of fun making and doing. xXx

Lilly second birthday was such a lovely day, surrounded by family and food and laughter. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy her self. Here are a few pictures from her day, she was very spoilt. Me and Daddy got all this sorted the night before so she could walk in and find all of her presents and cards.  She was so excited to open them all, but a bit overwhelmed too. She managed to unwrap all of them, including her cards all by herself. Every time she opened A boxed present she would ask me to open it for her. Over Nanny's she got a little tikes car which she completely loved and didnt stop playing in pretty much up to the start of her party.   When all the family arrived she had many more presents to open and lots of people saying happy birthday to her. This year we actually have a plan and theme. We are hoping to have a family BBQ weather permitting with the theme of Minnie mouse. This is the beautiful cake that Liam is going to attempt to replicate. He is a good cake maker so it shouldn't be too hard. It is a beautiful cake and will looking beautiful as a centre piece to the table. Hopefully she will be able to blow her candles out this year. I rarely use pintrest but now have a board on there specifically for her party now with simple ideas to make it a brilliant party. There are also so many print outs available so will be able to decorate quite easily. I especially like the ketchup and mustard bottles as it is a brilliant idea for out BBQ. We hope that this will be Lillys outfit for her party. We were very lucky to have won a competiton to win a custom dress of our choice. we chose a lilac one like the picture above.
