Meet Oreo - Our new Kitten

Image
We're either mad or just becoming crazy cat people but we have another kitten! Meet Oreo, our little 8 week old addition to the family.  It has been a crazy few days since we have got him adn we're still a little unsure of what Jack thinks yet. They have sniffed at each other, had a fews growls and a couple of swipes but all in all they seem ok. I think this will be the last kitten that we get whilst we have other cats, but are very excited about how both Jack and Oreo grow up together.  Please read my other post about getting Jack, its has details of what you should be aware of before getting a kitten/cat. Rare Breeds Cantre - Family Day Out

Image
We recently took a trip to the Rare Breeds Centre in Kent, which is a 100 acre farm with so much to do, from pig racing to animal encounters there is something to keep the children entertained all day.  We arrived around 10am and were instantly greeted with the sight of animals, near the car park were a couple of fields with some sheep in and at the entrance to the farm there were a couple of goats. Firstly we took a look into Creepy Crawly World, a room full of insects and reptiles, from trantulas to snakes to lizards, Lil's loved looking at them all but was glad that they were behind glass. We then decided to go to the petting area first which Lils absoloutly love, there were bunny rabbits, guinea pigs and a goat out for the children to say hello to, there are also a few animals in pens around the edge including pigs, more goats, a horse and a donkey. We then joined queue for the tractor/trailor ride, the ride itself takes around 15-20 minutes so be prepared t
