Our Summer Holiday Collage 2018

Well that's another summer holidays over, and what a summer holidays it has been. We have made more memories than I could have even hoped for. Below is just a snippet of our 6 1/2 weeks of fun.

Week 1 (23/07-29/07)

Week one was quite a quiet with a trip to the main park with my Dad to Play in the Park, an event run yearly with loads for children of all ages to take part in. other than that we hid a bit from the heatwave. We also went to watch both the Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial flight in aid of 100 years of RAF.

Week 2 (30/07-04/08)

This week we joined the summer reading challenge,m which we actually need to finish....opps, its a little harder this year as sadly our local library closed and the nearest one is a 30 minute bus ride away. We also went to play in the park again, just me and Lil's this time. We met Elsa, Anna and some storm troopers too. Lastly we had a lovely meet up with some of the school mummies, it was still so hot though. That weekend we went and watched my Dad his last carnival as Lego man :( he did win first prize again, but is the end of a chapter in my Dads life.

Week 3 (05/08-12/08)

This was probably the busiest week for us with camping out at rural past times, this is probably my favourites time from the holidays, we had so much fun and Lil's had a blast. We did get some awful downpours on the Friday which made things a little bit interesting to say the least. We had an amazing time away though, Lil's stomped around in the mud bare footed, we danced the night away to the local band and drank a little too much, Lil's got to hold a ferret, ride on a tractor and got to see her cousin that she hadn't seen since her 2nd birthday.

Week 4 (13/08-19/08)

This was the quietest week we had, I was so tired from camping and we had  so much stuff to sort out, we did go out on a couple of walks and I took her down to our local amusement park which I wanted to do for such a long time, it was so nice to have some time with her and letting her choose what rides she wanted to go on and see her laugh and have a blast. I also managed to go on a couple of rides with her which Lils loved too.

Week 5 (20/08-26/08)

week had a very cool week, especially towards the end. We visited a little museum that we have in  our town as they had a dinosaur day, Dad came with us and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We then had and amazing opportunity to go to Chessington World of Adventures with a community charity project. We went around the zoo and sea life centre and then managed to go on a few rides too. Mine and Lil's favourite ride was The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, it was so nice to kind of see a story that we love and know so well come to life on a ride.

Week 6 (27/08-02/09)

The last full week of the summer holidays has been a little quiet but we did get a little kitten, we have named him 'Jack' as that is was Lilly picked. We also had a lovely play date with a lady that I met when I worked at Tesco. The rest of the week sadly went downhill as Dad was taken into hospital but he is now home and well on the mend luckily.

I am so glad that I have managed to do quite a bit with Lilly and she really hasn't been bad at all with her behaviour. Any vlogs of our holidays will be down below.
