Back in September we visited Port Lympne Animal Reserve in Kent for Lilly's 4th birthday and wanted to share our day with you all. We booked the tickets online the day before as it was cheaper to do so but for the three of us it was still £58.67 which to me is quite expensive, that does include the safari truck adventure to the African experience.  On her birthday we wanted to make a full day of it so we left at about 9am to get there for  close to 10am which we did. When you first arrive you have to cross a bridge across the road to the main entrance where you walk past a small baboon enclosure with one in, he seemed very happy to be sitting there watching people come in and out and Lilly got very excited to see him.  Once in the park there are two enclosures which we thought were closed but at the end we found out that Liam's favourite animal was hiding in there.....but we'll come back to that.  We sorted everythin...

September has been an emotional month for me, my littrle 'baby' girl turned 4! That is so crazy, I am a Mum to a 4 year old! We have had a very busy month all in all, I also celebrated my 25th birthday and Lilly went back to nursery too. Again I didn't get many pictures of us together but this one makes me very happy. It was taken on her birthday on the Safari truck at Port Lympne Animal park.  We had a lovely family day out with just me, Lil's and Liam which is very rare. The weather was lovely but sadly some of the animals were hidden because of that fact. We did get to some some beautiful animals though and had a full day out. She was also spoilt rotton witb all her new toys and clothes that she recieved, a very lucky little girl. September has been a lovely month that I am actually quite sad that it's coming to an end

This time last weej was Liam's 25th birthday, he is incredibly hard to buy for and never knows what he wants at all, so this year I thought that I would do a basket of loads of things that he likes and needs too.  Liam love anything tk do with cars and loves cleaning his cars too so that was my main idea with a couple of added bits to bulk it out. First I went to Halfords to look at all the car cleaning bits, they had a 3 for 2 offer on the whole range. I firstly grabbed the Auto Glym leather cleaner, he has bee going on about this for a while so that was a must, I then looked at the microfibre clothes for him and also so cockpit cleaber too, this is in the scent of New car smell which is one of his go to air freshener scents. Lastly Lilly saw the smily face air freshener which she wanted to get for him. We had a wonderful and simple Easter this year. We were quite busy but nothing we couldn't handle.  Good Friday we went to go and look at a little car for me. I ended up buying it for just £650. We then went up to Liams mate house and enjoyed the warn sun in the play park and had bacon sandwiches. Saturday was Liam's 25th birthday, but sadly I didn't get any pictures as Liam hates having photos taken. We ended up going over Liam's parents and the birthday boy decided that he wanted to help me clean my car out. Easter Sunday was such a nice family day indoors. Lilly woke up at 7:25 which I thought was an amazing lie in but sadly it turned out that the clocks went forward and it was just normal time. The 10th of January, my Mum's birthday. I had felt kind of bad not being home for it but she was happy that I was getting such an amazing opportunity. We arrived in Malta today to a beautiful view so we decided to sit in the buffet area to watch us pull into port and enjoy our breakfast. Every door was a different colour ans most actually turned out to be little shops selling nic nacs. When we got off the ship we have a little walk to get to the buses for a tojr of the island. Whilst waitong we saw an old style bus which is actually quite common in Malta. The whole island is like stepping back in time. Our bus driver was crazy, he was going so fast at points and we got so cold sitting on top of a tour bus but had a beautiful view. We got off in a few places. One of these places is famous for coloured glass, we only looked in the shop there but me and Liam picked up a beautiful little candle holder which whas purple, red and white and in the shape of a heart. ...

Monday was a wonderful day of celebration when our little girl turned 3. I thought that I would share a few pictures to you all. We were meant to be taking a family trip but the weather was completely against us so we let her play with all her new toys in the morning.  She woke up at 6:20 and was full of it from then on. We went into the frontroom to open her presents at about 9am, she was loving it. Ripping the paper off and seeing her new toys that she had to play with. In the after noon we took a trip over to Nanny's and Grandads where she had more presents to open, a huge '3' balloon and we did her birthday cake after lunch. Daddy had brought a '3' sparkler and we put two normal candles on too. This year she actually managed to blow her candles out, last year the wind did it for her lol. I cannot believe that my little girl is going to be three years old. I see her grow and change every day but can't believe that three years have passed since I gave birth to her. Three years today was the most surreal day of my life, starting a new chapter, not only for me and but for me and Liam as a couple.  She is the best thing that happened to us and I am so thankful that we have a beautiful, clever little girl who knows how to make us smile and feel better with her quirky personality. I have watched her grow into this little girl who wants to explore and learn in any way she can, she knows how to push our limits and winds us up like no tomorrow but I wouldn't change her for the world. So on Saturday I had a birthday and was completely spoilt. I thought that I would share with you lovely people what I got. My other half didn't know what to get me at all, I am so difficult to buy for as I hate asking for things and never feel like I need anything lol. So Liam took me shopping for a few bits, I ended up in primark for some clothes and in Lush Cosmetics for some bath bombs. I picked up Intergalactic, The experimenter and frozen.  I also brought myself Sprinkle of Glitters diary with some money that I was given, I still have some of that to spend too. My Mum and Dad got me a handbag which I needed actually as the lining of my other bag was coming out and they also got me a Zoella Beauty make up bag with guinea pigs on the front, I asked for this a while back when out shopping with them. Another week has passed and I am another year older lol. It was my birthday yesterday and was truely spoilt :) I feel very lucky. Last Monday me and Lilly played with her duplo and made a really cool island for Jake and Peter from Jake and the Neverland pirates, We then went on to play for a bit finding the treasure and fighting off the crocodile. After she also made a chicken out if duplo which was amazing. During the week we went out and had icecream, two scoops of chocolate and a scoop of toffee. Lilly was so small in the chair that she actually sat on the table at the end to reach the bbotto, bless her. We ended up sharing as there was a lot of ice cream there for her to eat.  As I said at the beginning it was my birthday yesterday and I was spoilt but everyone. I cannot believe my baby girl is going to be 3 years old in twi weeks. We have been planning party ideas and buying present. Presents This has been the hardest year to find presents for her. She is at the stage where she loses ingress in things so easily. We have managed to get her a few bits but are still looking. She had a scooter, some duplo, a tinkerbell book which she asked for and some wooden pretend play food/ kitchen bits. I wish we could find things easier but we just can't seem to find anything that we know she'll like or that we agree on. Decorations I managed to pick a few bits up from Dunelm mill in a sale that they had, so this year is about princesses and we got some princess banners for just 49p per pack and some invitations for 69p per pack. Lilly second birthday was such a lovely day, surrounded by family and food and laughter. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy her self. Here are a few pictures from her day, she was very spoilt. Me and Daddy got all this sorted the night before so she could walk in and find all of her presents and cards.  She was so excited to open them all, but a bit overwhelmed too. She managed to unwrap all of them, including her cards all by herself. Every time she opened A boxed present she would ask me to open it for her. Over Nanny's she got a little tikes car which she completely loved and didnt stop playing in pretty much up to the start of her party.   When all the family arrived she had many more presents to open and lots of people saying happy birthday to her. It's my birthday so no weigh in this week. Just wanted to share a few pictures of my day. My morning started off with my birthday special, some pancakes, with glance cherries and golden syrup with coffee. I never really have anything other than bran flakes so a real treat. My man really knows me, I wasnt expecting anything let alone a yankee candle AND shade. The cande is in the scent lovely kiku and its a glass butterfly shade for a small jar. This was an utterly amazimg surprise and so sweet of him to think of that. These flowers are from my mu, and dad, dyed crythanthimyms in pink, blue and the original white colour, some of the leaves have picked up the dye too. These are so pretty and quite a cool idea beimg dyed. Family photo time, we don't have these very often so when I get the chance in take it, any occasion possible, sadly no smiles from Lilly but it wasn't long before her bedtime.            ...
