Back in August we were lucky enough to take a trip up to Chessington World of Adventures with the three of us. We were luckily enough to get seats on a community funded project for a coach trip up there. We had such a lovely day so here is our story. Our coach left our town at 9:30 in the morning and we arrives at about 11 am,we first entered the park through the coach end, which is located near the sea life centre and animals, so this is what we first ventured to, there are so many animals there which Lilly had never seen before, she especially loved the giraffes and the penguins. The zoo and sea life centre added more excitement to Lilly's trip as she got to experience so much in one day. We sadly miss some of the animals as the signage wasn't amazing and I am terrible at reading maps, but hopefully next time we will managed to visit those ones too. Last weekend I was lucky enough to travel up to London with Lilly, my Auntie and my uncle to Winter wonderland at Hyde Park. This is a free to enter event in the centre of London which is very family oriented and very festive. There are many rides and attractions for you to see BUT I would advise prebooking for the big attractions online. We arrived at around 2pm and the queue to enter was quite small, we only waited about 5 minutes before we were at the bag check. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was electric.  The first thing we did was check out some rides for Lilly (kind of wish we had waited as there were more Christmas themed one further in) and got some hot drinks (hot chocolate)   The children's rides range from £2 - £3 each and the larger rides cost £6,- £8 each. I have finally got around to writing my post from the weekend. We went camping again but this time we were in a caravan which was so much nicer. We arrived to the camping field on the Friday which was baking hot. We arrived at about 2pm and sorted out our caravan for the weekend. Sadly we couldn't do much playing outside the caravan as the field was an old wheat field and the stalks were quite sharp where it had been harvested. The rest of the Friday was set up really. Saturday was another scorcher but we decided to head over to the show field to have a look at what was there. The field was literally packed which really suprised me. The vehicles over there ranged from military to farming to vintage, so many things to see and I am so glad we could go a second day.  Lil's absolutely loved all the vintage cars and military vehicles. Today me and Lilly went to our local Armed forces day celebration down our main park. There was lots to see and do including displays from local groups and parades, there was also a chairoplane and bouncy castles there and they had stalls and tombolas as well. After the parade we started wandering and managed to catch the military college students pulling the truck along. It took them a while to get it moving but once they had they were fine. They also pushed it back up the field too. Food wise they had a burger van which was really cheap for the food they did, they had a crepes stand which I think is a brilliant idea. They also had an ice cream van which Lilly choose and a sweet stand. They had this cute, original 1950's chairoplane for the children which Lilly was so excited to go on. We had a very busy and family orientated bank holiday weekend. We visited the Laughton country show and cuckoo fayre and Arlighton stadium for micro madness, four a side team banger racing.  It was so nice to have sone time with just me and my litttle family. To get out of the house and treat our little girl to some well deserved days out. so Sunday we travelled about an hour to get to Laughton where we had a lot to see. The cuckoo fayre was amazing. They had a fun fair just inside the main gate with rides for all ages. Lilly went on the chairoplanes and a little car roundabout. She loved both of them but they wete priced a little high. There were so many vehicles to look round, campers, agricultural, vintage cars and bikes, ex army, I think you'd have to go all three days to see everything there.
