Sugar Apple Glazed Gammon | Recipe and Method
This is usually our Christmas gammon recipe but lately we have been having it more often. This is so tasty and yet so simple to make too.
For a 750gm Gammon you will need
250ml Apple juice
4-5 Tbsp Soft brown sugar
1. Score the gammon as picutred above.
2. Mix the apple juice and sugaf well until the apple juice is thicker than normal.
3. Once mixed pour over the gammon and put into a preheated oven.
4. Cover the gammon every 15 to 20 minutes with the juice.
5. Cook for required time.
We serve this with cheesy mash potato bake and vegetables
